Storm Elsa-Quinn Known Road Issues

These are the known road issues at this time. If you are aware of a road issue that is not on this list, involving a downed tree/branch, tree on wires, or other road blockage, please report any trees on wires or downed wires to Eversource at 800-286-2000.

Then call the Police Department Dispatch at 203-938-3400 and give them the same information so we can update this list accordingly.

Eversource representatives are here working with our Emergency Management Team on make safe operations. Damage assessments can take 24-36 hours and from there realistic restoration times can begin to unfold. Please be patient. This storm caused massive damage to our power infrastructure.

The Redding Community Center is open until 9 PM for warming, charging, bathrooms, and water. We will reopen tomorrow morning. A decision will be made tomorrow as to the Emergency Shelter at Joel Barlow High School. This is based on the duration we will be without power.
