Hiking Trails
Redding has over sixty miles of trails through a treasure of preserves and natural areas. The trails are maintained by a group of volunteers known as the Trail Tenders.
The Redding Land Trust is the publisher of the definitive guide to Redding’s trails, The Book of Trails IV, first published in 1986, which describes and maps our trails and traces the remarkable history of Redding’s open space preservation.
The Book of Trails IV is available for purchase at the Town Clerk’s office, the Mark Twain Library and the Community Center. Reports of trail conditions are welcome.
