From: Mental Health Task Force – Redding
Re INVITATION TO THE PUBLIC TO PRESENT ITS THOUGHTS ABOUT
MENTAL HEALTH RESOURCES AND SERVICES IN REDDING
The Redding Selectmen established the Mental Health Task Force in July 2014 and charged it to “explore and recommend to the Board of Selectmen the implementation of an efficient and effective plan for providing improved mental health resources to the community in Redding”.
The Mental Health Task Force has met numerous times over the last 6 months, and would now like to solicit input from current and past Redding residents about their thoughts about Mental Health in our town.
The Committee is interested in the challenges as well as the successes of our residents in finding out about and getting assistance with Mental Health in Redding. Do you have thoughts about “the implementation of a more efficient and effective plan”?
Public comment is actively sought on Wednesday, January 28th at 11:30 am at the Heritage Center at the Redding Community Center. Input will be heard during the Public Comments portion of the meeting. Residents should limit their comments to 3 minutes per person.
If unable to attend, residents are highly encouraged to submit their thoughts in writing to:
Office of Selectman, Redding
PO Box 1028
Redding, CT 06875
Attn: Mental Health Task Force
The Task Force looks forward to a productive and informative meeting.
