4. Application: 14-07-01 – 439 Redding Road – Applicant: Mark Twain Library (Map 29 & Lot 77) – Requesting a variance from Section 5.9.2 of the Redding Zoning Regulations for Signs. A five-year variance was given on August 18, 2011 to post 24 directional signs and 5 sandwich board signs to set up day before Book Fair. Requesting a variance to post 24 directional signs 3 weeks prior to Book Fair.

Application: 14-07-02 – 39 Orchard Drive (Map #37 & Lot #40) – Applicant & Owner: Peter Mygatt, 350 Branchville Road Ridgefield– Requesting a variance to The Redding Zoning Regulations Section 5.12.5(b) requiring detached residential apartments conform to rear yard setbacks twice those of minimum yards (100’ in R-2 Zone). Apartment in existing structure is 50’(fifty feet) from rear yard line: variance request is for 50’(fifty feet).

Application: 14-07-03 – 42 Fire Hill Road (Map #18 & #46) – Applicant 42 Fire Hill LLC – Owner: Marek Bester & Dorothy Darlington) – (a) Requesting a variance to reduce side yard setback 30’ feet for a garage. Redding Zoning Regulations 4.6 requires 40’ (forty foot) setback. Variance requested is 10’ (ten feet). (b) Requesting variance for a driveway. Redding Zoning Regulations 3.8(a) requires driveways be not less than 10’ (ten feet) from all side and rear lot lines. Variance requested is 10’ (ten feet).
