Town of Redding Zoning Commission – Commission initiated application for amendment of The Redding Zoning Regulations Section 6.2: to remove the following text:
If a building or structure, 50 – years or older, is to be demolished, no demolition shall occur for 90 days after application for a demolition permit. Demolition must be legally noticed. At the conclusion of the ninety-day period the demolition permit shall be issued and the demolition may occur. Reason for removal: regulation conflicts with the recently approved Demolition Delay Ordinance. Received January 22, 2014. Public Hearing March 12, 2014. 35 days allowed to close hearing.

Application #14-06Z – In accordance with Section 5.11.2 of the Redding Zoning Regulations: application to renew a Limited Duration Special Use Permit for the Redding Boy Scout Troop #15 Annual Spaghetti Dinner to be held on Saturday May 3, 2014 from 4:45pm thru 8:00pm at the West Redding Volunteer Fire Dept. Fire District #2, 306 Umpawaug Road. Previously held on May 5, 2013. For discussion(includes discussion of possible renewal application fee waiver)/action.
4. Application #14-07Z – In accordance with Section 5.11.2 of the Redding Zoning Regulations: application to renew a Limited Duration Special Use Permit for the The First Church of Christ Congregational 33rd Annual Church Fair to be held on Saturday September 27, 2014 from 10:00am thru 4:30pm. Previously held on September 28, 2013. For discussion(includes discussion of possible renewal application fee waiver)//action.
5. Application #14-08Z – In accordance with Section 5.12 of the Redding Zoning Regulations: application to construct residential apartment within existing dwelling. Emily and Joshua Kilbourn, 20 Deacon Abbott Road, Redding. For receipt/to schedule public hearing.
6. DISCUSSION:
Three Levels Corporation et al vs. Conservation Commission of the Town of Redding.
Discussion of recent court decision affirming denial of application for multi-family development at 626 Redding Road and Gallows Hill Road as grounds for invalidation of Redding Zoning Commission approval of Site Plan Application under CGS 8-30.g in accordance with stipulated agreement approved by the commission at the regularly scheduled meeting of March 26, 2008; stipulated agreement April 10, 2008.
