American Rescue Plan Act of 2021 (ARPA) Project Application Form
On March 11, 2021, the American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA) was signed into law and established the Coronavirus State Fiscal Recovery Fund and Coronavirus Local Fiscal Recovery Funds. Together these funds make up the Coronavirus State and Local Fiscal Recovery Funds (“SLFRF”) program.
The Town of Redding will receive $2,697,885.54 from American Rescue Plan Act funds distributed in two tranches, half in June 2021 and the second half in June 2022.
The Town is soliciting projects from qualified organizations wishing to be considered for a grant from Redding’s $2.7 million in American Rescue Act Plan Funds allocation.
The Coronavirus State and Local Fiscal Recovery Funds (SLFRF) program provides substantial flexibility for each jurisdiction to meet local needs within the four separate eligible use categories. Recipients may use SLFRF funds to:
- Replace lost public sector revenue
- Support the COVID-19 public health and economic response
- Provide premium pay for eligible workers performing essential work
