Local Coronavirus Testing
CVS Health in Bethel located at 7 Durant Avenue (next to the post office) is now offering drive-thru COVID-19 testing. They use self-swab tests where CVS members will explain how to use them, and they observe the process to assure it is administered correctly. Patients are required to remain in their cars. The tests are sent to a third-party lab for processing with results available within an estimated 3 days. You qualify for testing if you meet the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention guidelines, which include anyone with symptoms or who has been in contact with someone who is suspect or confirmed of having coronavirus within the last 14 days. Tests will not take place inside any CVS retail locations.
To get a test, interested residents must register for an appointment at cvs.com.
