Coronavirus Testing for Redding Residents

The Town of Redding is providing an opportunity for those Redding residents wishing to be swab tested for the coronavirus can do so this Saturday from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at the Redding Community Center. The testing will be conducted by DOCS Medical Group.
All pre-registered residents are welcome, ages 2 and up. Testing will not require a physician’s order and residents do not have to be symptomatic to be tested. Participants will be called with results within 24-48 hours.
The drive-thru test requires all participants to pre-register, which can be done at http://www.docsmedicalgroup.com/get-tested. When registering applicants need to register as “COVID-19 Redding Resident”. The pre-registration process assigns a time slot. Please do not come before your assigned time. During the event participants will be asked to stay in their car and walk-ins will not be allowed.
Payment will be through insurance or the CARES Act if you don’t have insurance. A government ID and an insurance card are required. COVID testing is 100% covered by insurance with no copay or deductible.
