Help us build Mt. Trashmore in honor of Earth Day at Redding’s Annual RID LITTER DAY EVENT!

9 am-4 pm

Come help Build Mt. Trashmore by doing a town-wide trash pick-up.

Pick up gloves/ bags/ vest and road assignment at the table set up outside of Town Hall.

Bring back trash by 3:45. At that time, we will be gathering for a photo op in front of Mt. Trashmore. At 4 pm, we will be loading up the dumpster that will be hauled off to the Redding Transfer Station.

You will receive a “treat” for your service to the town.

This year we will be hosting a “story walk” on the Parade Path. This is an informational “walk” that helps us learn how to manage trash better, compost and recycle. Handouts and other materials will be there for you to take with you.
