PUBLIC SCHOOLS OF EASTON, REDDING AND REGION NO. 9

WARNING AND NOTICE OF DISTRICT MEETING, REGIONAL SCHOOL DISTRICT NO. 9 COMPOSED OF THE TOWNS OF EASTON AND REDDING IN THE STATE OF CONNECTICUT.  Warning is hereby given to the electors and citizens qualified to vote in Regional School District No. 9, being those electors and citizens qualified to vote in the Towns of Easton and Redding in the State of Connecticut, that a District Meeting will be held on Wednesday, June 8, 2016, at Joel Barlow High School in Redding, Connecticut at 7:00 p.m., for the following purpose:

Making a supplemental appropriation for the 2015-2016 fiscal year and authorizing an expenditure of the supplemental appropriation in the total amount of $60,632.00, $10,632.00 as an additional contribution to the defined benefit pension plan and a $50,000.00 transfer to the capital reserve fund of the District.  Such appropriation and expenditure shall be made prior to June 30, 2016 and be funded with the amount of $60,632.00 received and held by the District related to the refund of taxes paid by the Town of Bethel to the District.
