Communications Center
The Communications Center is now a part of the Police Department as are all of our dispatchers.
The Redding Police Department dispatches all police, fire and ems calls within the Town of Redding and the Georgetown Fire District. The Dispatch Center is fully staffed – 24 hours per day, every day of the year.
All dispatchers are certified 911 operators, in police and fire telecommunications as well as in Emergency Medical Dispatch.
