UPCOMING ELECTIONS IN REDDING
If you are registered to vote in Redding, CT, your polling place is the Redding Community Center, 37 Lonetown Road, Redding, CT.
Polls are open from 6:00 AM to 8:00 PM. If you are in line at 8:00 PM, you will be permitted to vote.
If you are already registered to vote in Redding and do not wish to change your party, or update your address, no further action is needed. To verify your registration and party, visit portaldir.ct.gov/sots/lookup.aspx.

TBD – MUNICIPAL PRIMARY ELECTION
There may or may not be a Municipal Primary Election held on Tuesday, September 12, 2023. This will be determined by July 2023.
TUESDAY, NOVEMBER 7, 2023 – GENERAL ELECTION
All registered voters at least 18 years of age can vote in the General Election on Tuesday, November 7th regardless of party affiliation.
To vote on Tuesday, November 7th, all deadlines must be met.
- The deadline to register in person is Tuesday, October 31, 2023 at 8:00 PM.
- Mail-in registration applications must be postmarked Tuesday, October 31, 2023.
- The deadline to register via the Online Registration System is Tuesday, October 31, 2023 at 11:59 PM.
- If you meet one of the following exceptions to this deadline (known as Limited Registration), contact the Registrar of Voters to register.
- If you moved to Redding, CT from November 1 to November 7, 2023.
- If you turned 18 years of age from November 1 to November 7, 2023.
- If you became a U.S. citizen from November 1 to November 7, 2023.
- Election Day Registration: If you missed the deadline to register and do not meet one of the above criteria, but you are a bona fide resident of the town, you can register to vote on Election Day.
- However, you must complete an application and provide proof of identification and residence. You will only be permitted to vote if your application and documentation are approved by the Registrar of Voters!
