Present:  Greg Stackpole, Chairman, Margi Esten, Karen Gifford (4:04 PM), Charles Bachmann, Alternate (4:09 PM), Sharon Hoverman, Alternate

The meeting was called to order at 4:02 PM.

The purpose of the meeting was to hear appeals of property assessments for the 2020 Grand List and deliberate.

A personal property assessment appeal for 296 Ethan Allen Highway was scheduled; the applicant did not show for the appointment.

The Board entered deliberative session at 4:03 p.m.

35 Whortleberry Road
Total Assessment $519,500
New Assessment                                 $507,400

MOTION: Made by Mr. Stackpole, seconded by Ms. Esten to change the condition from good to average changing the value to $724,300.  Carried unanimous.

7 Beck Road
Total Assessment $451,000

MOTION: Made by Ms. Esten, seconded by Ms. Gifford that no change be made to the assessment based on the information provided.  Carried unanimous.

16 Olmstead Road
Total Assessment $231,500

MOTION: Made by Mr. Stackpole, seconded by Ms. Gifford that no change be made to the assessment based on the information provided.  Carried unanimous.

 6 Long Meadow Lane
Total Assessment $614,800
New Assessment                                 $575,800

MOTION: Made by Mr. Stackpole, seconded by Ms. Gifford to change the grade from A to A- based on the information provided and value accordingly.  Carried unanimous.

63 Side Cut Road
Total Assessment $643,900

MOTION: Made by Mr. Stackpole, seconded by Ms. Gifford that no change be made to the assessment based on the information provided.  Carried unanimous.

284 Black Rock Turnpike
Total Assessment $728,400
New Assessment                                 $649,300

MOTION: Made by Mr. Bachmann, seconded by Mr. Stackpole to change the style of the dwelling from custom colonial to colonial and add second kitchen value.  Carried unanimous.

241 Black Rock Turnpike
Total Assessment $4,183,900

MOTION: Made by Ms. Gifford, seconded by Ms. Esten that no change be made to the assessment based on the information provided.  Carried unanimous.

142 Topstone Road
Total Assessment $983,800

MOTION: Made by Mr. Stackpole, seconded by Mr. Bachmann that no change be made to the assessment based on the information provided.  Carried unanimous.

The Board exited deliberative session at 5:58 p.m.

The Board will meet in September 2021 for motor vehicle assessment appeals, date to be determined.

A motion to adjourn was made by Ms. Gifford, seconded by Mr. Bachmann, and carried unanimously at 6:00 PM.
