The meeting was called to order at 9:35.m.
The purpose of the meeting was to hear appeals of property assessments for the 2019 Grand List.
The Board heard the following appeal:
26 Woods Way – Unit 11D
Total Assessment $354,100
Appellant’s Opinion of Fair Market Value on October 1, 2017 $440,000
The Applicant provided documentation to the Board members to discuss in further detail. A discrepancy in square footage to other D units of approximately 180 square feet was noted. The sale of a larger unit, C-style unit, around the revaluation period was for $470,000. The owner indicated that the homeowners of the condo complex take care of the roadway, sewage system, maintenance, etc. and do not rely on Town services. The property was purchased in August 2013 for $520,500. There have been no remodels done in the residence aside from some new appliances due to maintenance and no permit activity was noted.
The Board entered deliberative session at 9:58 a.m.

New Assessment $346,000
MOTION: Made by Mr. Stackpole, seconded by Ms. Gifford that the depreciation code be changed from Good to Average and request John Ford, Assessor, do an interior inspection to verify the 3rd story height, make any appropriate changes and value accordingly. Carried unanimous.
The Board exited deliberative session at 10:06 a.m.
A motion to adjourn was made, seconded and carried unanimously at 10:07 a.m.
