A meeting of the members of the Board of Ethics for the Town of Redding, CT (the “Board”) was held at Redding Town Hall, 100 Hill Road, Redding, CT 06896 on Monday, September 17, 2018 at 7:30 p.m. Chairman David M. Lewson called the meeting to order at 7:32 p.m.
The following members were present:
David M. Lewson (Chairman)
Richard L. Emerson (Vice Chairman and Acting Secretary)
Joan DeSalvo
Sharon Hoverman (Alternate)
Andrew Carman (Secretary) and David Anderson were absent.
Richard L. Emerson agreed to serve as Acting Secretary for this meeting.
Sharon Hoverman, as an alternate member of the Board of Ethics, was seated as a regular member of the Board in place of Andrew Carman who was absent from the meeting.
APPROVAL OF MINUTES: The minutes of the meeting on March 12, 2018, upon motion made by Richard L. Emerson and seconded by Joan DeSalvo, were approved unanimously.
STATUS OF BOARD MEMBERSHIP: Sharon Hoverman was appointed and is now serving as an Alternate Member. The Ethics Board consists of five fulltime Members and one Alternate Member and is completely staffed.
NEW BUSINESS: There was no new business submitted to the Board or raised by any member of the Board.
ADJOURNMENT: As there was no further business, the meeting was adjourned at 7:38 pm. The next meeting will be Monday, December 10, 2018 at 7:30 p.m.
