A meeting of the members of the Board of Ethics for the Town of Redding, CT (the “Board”) was held at Redding Town Hall, 100 Hill Road, Redding, CT 06896 and by Tele-conference call (some members were unable to join via Zoom) so that each member could hear each other, on Monday, September 13, 2021 at 6:00 p.m. Vice-Chairman Andrew Carman called the meeting to order at 6:10 p.m.

The following members were present: Andrew Carman (Vice-Chairman); David Anderson (Secretary); Eric Witt and Joan DeSalvo. Richard L. Emerson (former Chairman) and Sharon Hoverman have both resigned from the Board and, therefore, were absent.

APPROVAL OF MINUTES: The minutes of the meeting on March 22, 2021, upon motion made by Eric Witt and seconded by David Anderson, were approved unanimously.

NEW BUSINESS: There was no new business submitted to or raised by any member of the Board.

ELECTION OF BOARD LEADERSHIP: Due to the fact that Joan DeSalvo’s term ends December 14, 2021, David Anderson’s term ends February 9, 2022 and Andrew Carman’s term ends February 9, 2022, Andrew Carman proposed an Acting Leadership Slate between this Board meeting and the Board Meeting on December 13th, 2021. The Board unanimously agreed. Joan DeSalvo put forward the motion for an Acting Leadership Slate comprising:

Andrew Carman (Chairman)
David Anderson (Vice Chairman)
Eric Witt (Secretary)

Eric Witt seconded the motion. The motion passed unanimously.

FUTURE DATES FOR 2021 BOARD MEETINGS: Monday, December 13, 2021

The meeting is scheduled to start at 6:00 PM

ADJOURNMENT: As there was no further business, upon motion made by Andrew Carman and seconded by Joan DeSalvo, the meeting was adjourned at 6:22 pm. The next meeting will be Monday, December 13, 2021 at 6:00 p.m.
