First Selectman Natalie Ketcham called the meeting to order at 8am. Present were Julia Pemberton, Don Takacs, Highway Superintendent Jeff Hanson, Foremen Robert Paradise and Ed Read, and Police Chief Douglas Fuchs.
The meeting was called because both the First Selectman and Highway Superintendent will be out of town between March 18 and 26 and felt that their designees should agree on procedures to use in case of a weather or emergency related event. It was determined that Ed Read and Julia Pemberton will be the primary contact for their respective agencies, but that Chief Fuchs will contact all parties if there is information to disseminate.
All present exchanged contact information. The Highway Superintendent indicated that he would call the Superintendent of Schools to inform him of the proper contact in his absence and the First Selectman indicated that she would remotely record any emergency outgoing calls if needed during the week.
On the motion of Don Takacs, seconded by Julia Pemberton, the meeting adjourned at 8:25 am.
