MINUTES
Tuesday, August 1, 2017
7:30 p.m. – Old Town House
Present: David Pattee, Chairman; William Hill; Stuart Green; Susan Robinson; Tina Miller; Wallace Perlman.
The Chairman called the meeting to order at 7:35 p.m.
I. APPROVAL OF MINUTES – Meeting of 7/18/17
On the motion of W. Perlman and the second of T. Miller, the Commission voted to approve the 7/18/17 Meeting Minutes. W. Hill and S. Green abstained.
II. REGULATORY
Application #17-08, Eric L. and Courtney P. Cowley, Rob Sanders Architects, agent, 221-229 Lonetown Road. Received 7/18/17. Possible discussion of an application for construction of a replacement poolhouse and construction of a 2-car garage within the regulated area.
Discussion tabled pending receipt of revised application.
Application #17-09, Guy Mazza (owner), Dennis Carlson, A-1 Septic (agent), 5 Wagon Wheel Road. To receive and discuss an application for septic repair with discharge to an existing swale which discharges to a down-gradient wetland area.
Guy Mazza and Dennis Carlson were present. The proposal was reviewed accompanied by a drawing.
A site walk is scheduled for Mon., 8/8/17 at 6:00 p.m. D. Pattee requested placement of stakes at the ends of the proposed system location.
Discussion of Land Management Plan for 18 Hill Road.
Commissioners will review the plan in detail after text is edited out by T. Miller. Several areas in need of amendment were reviewed.
Discussion of the Town of Redding Open Space Plan 2018.
Tina Miller will edit the areas for discussion for review at the first meeting in September.
III. CHAIRMAN’S REPORT
The final invoices from last fiscal year were reviewed.
The need for repair and maintenance at Gilbert-Miller Park was discussed.
On the motion of T. Miller and the second of W. Perlman, the Commission voted unanimously to adjourn the meeting at 8:45 p.m.
