The Chairman called the meeting to order at 7:30 p.m.
I. APPROVAL OF MINUTES – Minutes of May 20, 2014
On the motion of W. Perlman and the second of W. Hill, the Commission voted unanimously to approve the 5/20/14 Minutes.
II. REGULATORY
Application #14-07, Justin and Emiko Ida Leach (owners), Michael J. Mazzucco, P.E. (agent), 63 Mountain Road. To receive and discuss an application for construction of single-family dwelling, well, septic, driveway and drainage within the regulated area.
M. Mazzucco was present for the applicant. The site development plan was displayed and reviewed in detail. A Site Walk is scheduled for Tues., 6/10/14 at 5:30 p.m. Mr. Mazzucco was requested to stake the proposed site locations of the garage, house, drainage infiltrator, both ends of the septic system and the driveway end.
Application/Violation #1202V, Ms. Pamela Davis (owner), Peter Davis (agent), 724 Redding Road. Earthmoving and disposition of woodchips, split wood, cut logs and branches in and around wetland soils to establish property line (border) from wetlands.
No new information or discussion.
III. CHAIRMAN’S REPORT
Trails Day hike will take placed on 6/7/14 starting at 9:15 a.m. at the Palus Trail head on Long Wall Road.
A tour of the Georgetown wastewater treatment facility is scheduled for 6/12/14.
D. Pattee reported that Brian Roche of Aquarion is concerned about the presence of hogweed on Cross Highway.
The field at Stormfield has been mowed. Additional mowing before the end of the fiscal year was discussed.
D. Pattee reported that the State is upgrading the high-speed internet service to Town Halls. He will request that the Old Town Hall is included in the upgrade.
On the motion of T. Miller and the second of W. Perlman, the Commission voted unanimously to adjourn the meeting at 8:35 p.m.
