MINUTES

Present: David Pattee, Chairman; Stuart Green; Susan Robinson; Tina Miller; Wallace Perlman.

Absent: William Hill

The Chairman called the meeting to order at 7:33 p.m.

I.  APPROVAL OF MINUTES – Meeting of January 2, 2017
Site Walk Minutes January 14, 2018
-Nancy Herron Rube, 14 Ridgewood Dr.
-M/M Eric Cowles, 221-229 Lonetown Rd.

On the motion of W. Perlman and the second of T. Miller, the Commission voted unanimously to approve the 1/2/17 Meeting Minutes.
On the motion of W. Perlman and the second of S. Green, the Commission voted unanimously to approve the 1/14/18 Site Walk Minutes.

II. REGULATORY
Application #17-14, Florian Spiekermann/Lisa Tancredi, 6 Long Ridge Road. To receive and discuss an application for construction of a dry stone bridge over a stream. Site Walk 12/3/17. Discussion 12/5/17.

Per D. Pattee, after consulting Milone & MacBroom, A. Pardee submitted a memo outlining specific alterations to the application as it relates to the need for a flood plain permit. It was suggested that the application be withdrawn and refunded so the applicant can determine future action.

Application #17-17, Nancy Herron Ruben (owner), Nazzaro, Inc. (agent), 14 Ridgewood Drive. Received 12/19/17. Discuss an application to repair a septic system within the regulated area. Site Walk 1/14/18.

G. Nazzaro was present for the applicant. Site Walk findings were reviewed.

On the motion of W. Perlman and the second of S. Green, the Commission voted unanimously to approve Application #17-17.

Application #18-01, Eric L. and Courtney P. Cowles (owners), Rob Sanders Architects, LLC (agent), 221-229 Lonetown Road. To receive and discuss an application to construct a new two-car garage and replacement of a dilapidated pool house within the regulated area. Site walk 1/14/18.

Rob Sanders was present for the applicant. Site Walk findings were reviewed. Mr. Sanders reviewed the construction sequence. D. Pattee reviewed the recommendation of a cartridge filter system for the pool.

On the motion of W. Perlman and the second of S. Robinson, the Commission voted unanimously to approve Application #18-01.

Discussion of the Town of Redding Open Space Plan 2018.
Commissioners reviewed edits and proposed changes. Emma Borjigin-Wang attended via Facetime.

Commissioners should review S. Green’s new language for review at the next meeting.

III. CHAIRMAN’S REPORT
Stuart Green reviewed easement language re: Biehn property.

On the motion of T. Miller and the second of W. Perlman, the Commission voted unanimously to adjourn the meeting at 9:20 p.m.
