MINUTES
Tuesday, October 15, 2019
7:30 p.m. – Old Town House
Present: David Pattee, Chairman; Claire Matzke; William Hill; Susan Robinson; Wallace Perlman; Tina Miller.
Absent: Stuart Green
The Chairman called the meeting to order at 7:33 p.m.
I. APPROVAL OF MINUTES -Meeting of October 1, 2019
On the motion of W. Perlman and the second of T. Miller, the Commission voted unanimously to approve the October 1, 2019 Meeting Minutes as amended: Page 2, second item under “Chairman’s Report”, change to “Per S. Green, a response is pending from a possible contractor for repairs to the boardwalk at Lonetown Marsh.”
REGULATORY
Application #19-06, Scott Werndorfer (owner), Trillium Architects, Patrick Mulcahey (agent), 5 Side Cut Road. To receive and discuss an application to replace existing septic system and installation of proposed leaching area within the regulated area.
Mr. Mulcahey was present for the applicant. The proposal was reviewed accompanied by project drawings. Wetland mapping was discussed re: possible need to have the wetlands marked by a soil scientist.
A Site Walk is scheduled for 10/20/19 at 8:30 a.m.
On the motion of D. Pattee and the second of T. Miller, the Commission voted unanimously to add 223 Gallows Hill Road to the Agenda.
Discussion, 223 Gallows Hill Road.
At the request of Land Use Director Aimee Pardee, the Commission reviewed the status of the woodchip pile at 223 Gallows Hill Road. The Commission agreed that the removal of all woodchips should continue.
A Site Walk is scheduled for 10/20/19 at 9:00 a.m.
II. CHAIRMAN’S REPORT
S. Robinson reported on the downed wires in front of the Building Dept. caused by a maple tree.
The Town of Weston has scheduled a discussion re: history of Conservation in Weston with the Historical Society.
A possible contractor re: Lonetown Marsh boardwalk repair is pending.
The Town Plan of Conservation & Development public meetings are scheduled for 10/26, 10:00 am-12:00 pm and 10/30, 6:30 pm-8:30 pm at the Community Center.
On the motion of T. Miller and the second of W. Perlman, the Commission voted unanimously to adjourn the meeting at 8:05 p.m.
