The Commission began its inspection of the downed trees areas by walking along the road towards the pond. The temporary stream crossing location just south of the existing footbridge was pointed out by M. Murray. This would be used to access the southern pine-forested area and to allow the harvested timber to be removed to the field area for temporary storage. The Commission proceeded to the northern area and observed the extensive blow-downs. This area would be harvested and the timber removed by using the existing trail access. The Commission then trekked through the southern area and exited via the Perimeter Trail.
The site inspection ended at 10:15 am.

The Commission inspected the wood storage areas of the property located to the rear and side of the lot. Despite the snow cover, it appeared that the wood storage areas have encroached on the wetlands areas. The immediate goal would be the removal of the wood piles and an additional inspection after the snow has melted to determine any future action.
The site inspection ended at 10:45 am.

The Commission inspected the area for the proposed parking along the west side of the entrance road and the proposed turn-around area on the east side. The drainage areas were observed and those would be required to be filled according to the plan. If the parking were shifted to the east side, no filling of wetlands or drainage ways would be required. The turn-around could utilize an area already cleared and level on the west side.
The site inspection ended at 9:20 am.
