MINUTES
Tuesday, April 19, 2022
7:30 p.m. – Via ZOOM
Present via video: David Pattee, Chairman; William Hill; Stuart Green; Wallace Perlman; Susan Robinson; Claire Matzke.
Also present:   Aimee Pardee, Land Use Director
The Chairman called the meeting to order at 7:35 p.m.

I.  APPROVAL OF MINUTES – Meeting April 5, 2022
Mr. Perlman motioned and Mrs. Matzke seconded the motion to approve the 4/5/22 Meeting Minutes. The motion passed unanimously.

II. REGULATORY
Notice of Violation, Paola Benitez, 440 Black Rock Turnpike. To discuss violation regarding earthmoving and soil disturbance adjacent to a watercourse. Discussion 4/05/2022.

Mr. Pattee reported that receipt of an application is still pending. Land Use Dir. A. Pardee will reach out to Mr. Benitez to check on the expected date. S. Robinson questioned whether the silt fence was installed before the recent heavy rain.  A. Pardee noted her observation that some had gone up.

Application #22-05, Tracy Castelli (owner), Steven Trinkaus, PE (agent), 74 Seventy Acre Road. To receive and discuss an application for installation of s sewage disposal system within the regulated area.
Mr. Trinkaus was present via ZOOM.  He screenshared and reviewed the proposed sewage disposal system plans.

A Site Inspection is scheduled for Mon., 4/25/22 at 5:30 p.m.  Mr. Pattee requested stakes at the proposed septic location.

III.  CHAIRMAN’S REPORT
Mr. Pattee thanked Stuart Green for his years as the treasurer of NRVT. The NRVT board is looking for a new board member. A gully has been observed on the trail and estimates are being obtained for repair. The warranty is being reviewed to determine if a rivulet is included.

The ribbon cutting is scheduled for May 11 at 1 p.m. on Picketts Ridge with parking on the open space side.  D. Pattee will confirm the details with Will Haskell and Anne Hughes. Mr. Green will work with Mr. Pattee on the final invitation list.

The thank you party for trail tenders is scheduled for Sun., 4/24/22 at 4 p.m. at the Town Hall.

The Trails Day Hike is scheduled for 6/4/22 and will be a 2.6-mile family-oriented hike at Limekiln Natural Area.
Georgetown Day is scheduled for 6/5/22.
Tina Miller offered to be a liaison between the Commission’s publicity needs and the soon to be Redding Sentinel.  The paper may also be an option for placing public notices.

Mrs. Miller motioned and Mr. Perlman seconded the motion to adjourn the meeting at 8:35 p.m. The motion passed unanimously.
