The Chairman called the meeting to order at 7:35 p.m.
I. APPROVAL OF MINUTES – Minutes of November 4, 2014
November 4, 2014 Minutes will be approved at the next meeting.
On the motion of S. Green and the second of W. Perlman, the Commission voted unanimously to approve the 10/7/14 Meeting Minutes.
Application #14-16, Richard Randall (owner), Nazzaro, Inc. (agent), 131 Peaceable Street. To receive and discuss an application to restore pond to original depth and shape. To construct masonry inlet forebay.
J. Nazzaro was present for the applicant. The project plans and drawings were reviewed and a Site Walk was scheduled for Mon., 11/24/14 at 8:00 a.m.
Request from Eileen Wilkerson to discuss permission to walk Saugatuck Falls (also Huntington or Putnam Parks) to raise money for Christ Church Parish, Redding, to drill a new well in Uganda.
Discussion tabled per request from Ms. Wilkerson.
Mr. and Mrs. Mark Mirowski, 162 Sunset Hill Road. To discuss letter from Aimee Pardee, Zoning/Conservation Enforcement Officer, that the existing fence is within the Conservation Easement area and must be removed, the area returned to its natural state, and pasturing of horses within this area may not continue.
D. Pattee will obtain status report from A. Pardee. Discussion will continue at the next meeting.
Application/Violation #12-02V, Ms. Pamela Davis (owner), Peter Davis (agent), 724 Redding Road. Earthmoving and disposition of woodchips, split wood, cut logs and branches in and around wetland soils to establish property line (border) from wetlands. Discussion 7/1/14.
No new information. D. Pattee will follow up with Commission Counsel re: letter.
III. CHAIRMAN’S REPORT
D. Pattee, S. Robinson and S. Green reported on their attendance at the CACIWC Annual Meeting on 11/15/14.
S. Green noted that the Eagle Scout trailhead re-route project has been completed.
D. Pattee will coordinator with S. Stamos re: Site Walk of reported lot access off Den Road on watershed property.
Re: Bow hunting, over 20 people have signed up. A status report will be scheduled for later in the season.
Re: Emerald Ash Borer, a meeting is scheduled at the Haddam Extension Center to discuss possible quarantine.
On the motion of T. Miller and the second of W. Perlman, the Commission voted unanimously to adjourn the meeting at 8:45 p.m.
