Minutes

Present:  David Pattee, Chairman; Susan Robinson; Stuart Green.

Absent: William Hill; Joseph Beres; Tina Miller; Wallace Perlman.

Due to the lack of a quorum, no vote was made to begin the meeting.  Discussion began at 7:35 p.m.

I.  APPROVAL OF MINUTES -Minutes of December 15, 2015; Site Walk Minutes, December 21, 2015; 222 Redding Road, Kirk/Joyce; 475 Newtown Turnpike, Sterlhen LLC/M. Henry

Discussion tabled pending presence of a quorum.

II.  REGULATORY

Application #15-11, Thomas Kirk and Kathleen Joyce (owners), Nazzaro, Inc. (agents), 222 Redding Road. Received 12/1/15. Discussion and possible vote on an application for necessary tree removal, bridge and supports removal, installation of HDPE pipes, construction of headwalls and restore driveway surface associated with Bridge Replacement. Site Walk 12/6/15. Discussion 12/15/15. Site Walk 12/21/15.

J. Nazzaro was present. Recent site walk findings were discussed. Discussion will continue at the next meeting.

Application #15-14, Sterlhen LLC/Marie C. Henry, 475 Newtown Turnpike (formerly 327 Black Rock Turnpike). Received 12/15/15. Discussion and possible vote on an application to construct driveway to a single-family dwelling and accessory dwelling/cottage and review updated approved map. Site Walk 12/21/15.  Henry was present. Updated plans and site walk findings were reviewed. Ms. Henry will contact T. Quinn re: changes made to plan.

Discussion will continue at the next meeting.

III.  CHAIRMAN’S REPORT

D. Pattee reported that Eversource is scheduling their annual cleanup at power lines.

S. Green provided an update re: trail tending.

Re: NRVT mailing, S. Green reported the next step as applying to the district DOT for permission to build the trail.

D. Pattee is attending the brown bag lunch with J. Pemberton on 1/6/16. Information re: Biehn property status will be solicited.

Lonetown Marsh repair estimate is pending.

S. Robinson posted a tribute to Jere Ross on the Gilbert-Miller Park Facebook page.
