Present: David Pattee, Chairman; Susan Robinson; William Hill; Stuart Green; Tina Miller; Wallace Perlman.
Absent: Joseph Beres

The Chairman called the meeting to order at 7:35 p.m.

I.   APPROVAL OF MINUTES -Minutes of February 2, 2016

On the motion of W. Perlman and the second of T. Miller, the Commission voted unanimously to approve the 2/2/16 Meeting Minutes.


Permit #07-11, 29 Goodsell Hill Road (aka 19 Goodsell Hill Road.) Ryan Fletcher (owner). Request to extend permit for up to five years and Transfer of Permit to new owner.

Ryan Fletcher was present.  A signed copy of the permit transfer was submitted.  D. Pattee confirmed the address is 29 and 19 Goodsell Hill Road.

Mr. Fletcher confirmed that the proposed construction details are different from the approved permit details. Discussion will continue at the next meeting pending receipt of new plans depicting revised site and construction details.


Scott and Robin Sattler. Clearing and grading at 15 Mill Road.

Scott Sattler was present. The history of site conditions and activity leading to the Cease & Desist was reviewed by Mr. Sattler. D. Pattee noted that the Cease & Restore Order is still in effect.

Application #16-01, Scott and Robin Sattler, 15 Hill Road. To receive and discuss an application for tree and stump removal, soil preparation for lawn. Seeding.  Removal of pachysandra. Fix gutter leads. Extend and pave driveway. Clean dead wood from stream.

Mr. Sattler reviewed proposed plans.  A site walk is scheduled for Thurs., 3/17/16 at 5:00 p.m.  D. Pattee stated that the silt fence needs to remain secured.

D. Pattee requested that Mr. Sattler call Aquarion if unauthorized lumber removal is observed again or suspected on abutting Centennial Watershed land.

Trails Day is scheduled for 6/5/16.  The Trails party is Sun., 4/24/16 from 4:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m. at the Land Use Office.

Volunteers are needed for a plant sale on 5/7/16.

Location maps that are linked with Town GIS maps are needed for online access.  Possible mapping programs were reviewed.

On the motion of T. Miller and the second of W. Perlman, the Commission voted unanimously to adjourn the meeting at 8:50 p.m.
