The Chairman called the meeting to order at 7:35 p.m.

I.   APPROVAL OF MINUTES
-Minutes of April 16, 2016
-Minutes of Site Walk-Mr. & Mrs. Michael Nelson, 15 Peaceable St.

On the motion of W. Perlman and the second of W. Hill, the Commission voted unanimously to approve the 4/16/16 Meeting Minutes.

On the motion of W. Perlman and the second of W. Hill, the Commission voted unanimously to approve the Site Walk Minutes at 15 Peaceable Street.

II.   REGULATORY
Application #16-03, Michael and Barbara Nelson, 15 Peaceable Street. Received 4/19/16. Discussion and possible vote on an application to construct a two-story, two-car garage within the regulated area. Site Walk 4/22/16.

Mr. Nelson was present.  Site Walk findings were reviewed.

On the motion of S. Green and the second of W. Hill, the Commission voted unanimously to approve Application #16-03.

III.  CHAIRMAN’S REPORT
D. Pattee reported that DEEP wetlands commissioner training is available free of charge for one person.  Anyone interested should contact the Land Use Office.

CFPA Annual Meeting is scheduled for May 19, 2016 in Hamden.

D. Pattee noted receipt of an email re: Natalie Ketcham farewell being held on Thurs., 5/12/16 at the Town Hall.

S. Robinson suggested the retention pond behind the recycling shed at the Recycling Station as a possible bioremediation project.

J. McLeran emailed D. Pattee re: brush removal at Couch Hill. This will be deferred until fall.

S. Green reviewed possible Eagle Scout projects.

On the motion of S. Robinson and the second of W. Perlman, the Commission voted unanimously to adjourn the meeting at 8:05 p.m.
