MINUTES OF SPECIAL MEETING
Thursday, February 16, 2017
7:30 PM, Old Town House
Present: Chairman Raymond D’Angelo, Secretary Anda Cumings, Vice-Chairman Matt Lecher.
Chairman Raymond D’Angelo calls the meeting to order at 7:38PM.
I. Approval of Meeting Minutes-January 30, 2017. Discussion of minutes takes place. Ray asks that the minutes be amended to omit the word “completed” in the first sentence of Section II, in reference to Peter Olsen’s draft of the revised Demolition Delay Ordinance. Matt Lecher motions that the minutes of the meeting of January 30, 2017 be accepted with this change. Raymond D’Angelo seconds, all vote in favor.
II. Revision of Demolition Delay Ordinance. A final draft of the Demolition Delay Ordinance is reviewed by the Committee. This draft includes changes discussed in the last meeting. After discussion, it is determined that no further changes are to be made. Anda Cumings motions that the final draft of the Demolition Delay Ordinance as revised by town counsel Peter Olsen be approved by the Committee and submitted to the First Selectman. Matt Lecher seconds, all vote in favor.
III. Committee Business. Anda Cumings motions that the Committee establish a regular meeting day at the Old Town Hall on the first and third Thursdays of every month. Ray D’Angelo seconds the motion, all vote in favor. Anda is to inform the Town Clerk of the change and submit a meeting calendar.
Raymond D’Angelo motions to adjourn. Seconded by Anda Cumings. The meeting adjourns at 8:25 PM.
