MINUTES OF MEETING
Thursday, August 15, 2019 7PM
Old Town House

Present: Chairman Ray D’Angelo, Secretary Anda Cumings, alternate Sherry Karraker, Land Use Officer Aimee Pardee.

Chairman Ray D’Angelo begins the meeting at 7:05 PM. Sherry Karraker is seated for Vice Chairman Matt Lecher.

I.   Approval of Minutes- Special Meeting Site Visit 4/18/19 and Minutes of Meeting 4/18/19. Sherry Karraker motions to accept the minutes of the special meeting of April 18th as posted. Seconded by Ray D’Angelo, all vote in favor. Sherry also motions to accept the minutes of the regular meeting of April 18th, Ray seconds, all vote in favor.

II.  Demolition Application for house at 14 Whortleberry Road, owners Philip Curatilo and Tammy Weiner of New Fairfield. Raymond D’Angelo begins discussion of the property. All present go over the recent July 8th site visit completed by Land Use Officer Aimee Pardee. The house has an inexpensively erected 1931 cement block portion and a late 1980’s addition, with a total living area of 2,336 square feet. The house is accessible by an approximately 500 foot unpaved drive. The lot is 27 acres and is not going to be subdivided by the owners. The demolition company is Stone Ridge Excavation LLC of Bethel, CT. The house is not listed on any historic register and has no architectural or other historic significance. Sherry Karraker motions that the 180 demolition delay be waived for the applicants. Anda Cumings seconds. All vote in favor.

III.  Chairman’s Report. There is no Chairman’s Report. Ray motions that the meeting be adjourned. Anda seconds, the meeting is adjourned at 7:22PM.
