Meeting Minutes
Present: Kevin Jones (Chair), Lorcan O’Connor, Scott Palmer, Mitch Edwards, Pete Graziano, Mary Lou Carlson (7:35)
CALL TO ORDER
Mr. Jones called the meeting to order at 7:30 pm.
REVIEW OF DIRECTOR’S REPORT
– Mr. Blick reported the following:
– A meeting has been requested with Millennium Builders to move forward with the Pavilion addition at RCC.
– Mr. Blick attended the Connecticut ADA Conference, and has a formalized statement regarding inclusion which will be part of our programming going forward.
– The budget schedule was shared with the Commission, outlining important dates heading into 2020.
– The Ice Rink is scheduled to be setup right after Thanksgiving, at which time the weather will be monitored to see when we can fill it with water and make it operational for the winter season.
– Part-time employee hours will now be monitored and approved by Mr. Blick.
– Issues with the brochure design and printing process continued to be addressed, and resolved, as they arise.
– The Extended Day program has been sold out. The refund policy has been adjusted slightly in an attempt to allow those on the waiting list to get available spots as they come open.

DISCUSSION OF PREVIOUS BUSINESS
– The owner of the property at 27 Starrs Ridge Road would like to discuss the possibility of renting his property during the summer months for our camp. The commission discussed a concern of where the funding would come from. The commission is still waiting for the town to review the property and offer suggestions regarding what inspections need to be made by a third party firm.
