Present: Diane Taylor, Chairman; Thomas Flagg; Jerry Sarnelli, seated for T. Welles.

Absent: Nancy King; Donald Stroetzel; Toby Welles; James Bacon, Alt.; Regina O’Brien, Alt.

Also present: Jo-an Brooks, Land Use Coordinator

The Chairman called the meeting to order at 7:35 p.m.

I. APPROVAL OF MINUTES -Meeting 7/9/13

On the motion of J. Sarnelli and the second of T. Flagg, the Commission voted unanimously to approve the 7/9/13 Meeting Minutes.

II. ADMINISTRATIVE

1. Incentive Housing Zones: Discussion. Possible vote.

No new information or discussion.

2. S.R. 4.8 Revision: To Vote. Public Hearing scheduled for 8/13/13.

J. Brooks noted that Commission Counsel P. Olson has reviewed the revision.

On the motion of J. Sarnelli and the second of T. Flagg, the Commission voted unanimously to approve S.R. 4.8 as amended.

3. Amendment to S.R. 8.1.36, Building Construction & Restriction Line and addition of S.R. 8.1.34 Buildable Area: To Vote. Public Hearing scheduled for 8/13/13.

J. Brooks noted that Commission Counsel P. Olson has reviewed the Amendment and the addition of Section 8.1.34.

On the motion of T. Flagg and the second of J. Sarnelli, the Commission voted unanimously to approve Amendment to S.R. 8.1.36 and the addition of Section 8.1.34.

4. Scenic Roads Monitoring. Reports. (Status of wood chips on Umpawaug Road and Marchant). Status of Driveway Permits (ZEO), Status of Driveway Aprons (ZEO), List of Turn-outs on Scenic Roads by Planning Commissioners, i.e. opposite 5 Umpawaug Road and opposite intersection nearest Georgetown of Wayside and Umpawaug Roads.

Discussion tabled pending attendance by full Commission.

5. Reference Subdivision App. #8-A, 163 Sunset Hill Road, Kathlene Tracy. Request to create an additional driveway entrance. Progress Report.

No new information or discussion.

III. PENDING

1. Reference App. #505, Lot 3, Petra Koegel, owner, 16 Costa Lane. ZBA approved location of dog kennel and shed outside the Zoning setbacks. Location approved by Planning. To submit a map showing the adjusted Building Construction Restriction Line. Reminder letter from Land Use Coordinator 7/17/13.

2. Town Plan of Conservation & Development. Discuss recommendations for action.

IV. CHAIRMAN’S REPORT

No items.
On the motion of T. Flagg, the Commission voted unanimously to adjourn the meeting at 7:38 p.m.
