We walked and drove via vehicular pathways the approximate extent of the 14 proposed lots. Spencer Scott described approximate lot lines and pointed out where flags indicating proposed houses are. Both Mr. Scott and Mr. Coates explained the two proposed bridges and noted the locations where they would be installed.
Proposed entries to the site were shown, and the existing Marchant Road entry to be moved was discussed.
The attendees viewed the proposed open space area from the upland lots but did not access the area itself.
Nancy King and Regina O’Brien noticed the absence of any groundcover or shrub layer throughout much of the property. Mr. Coates said clearing had occurred prior to P.W. Scott Engineering & Architecture’s relationship with the project.
