CALL TO ORDER
C. Parkin called the Redding Board of Education Special Meeting to order at 1:02 p.m.
Motion: move that the Redding Board of Education approve a voluntary retirement incentive plan to be offered to members of the Redding Education Association at an aggregate cost to the Board not to exceed $375,000 over three years and authorize the chairperson to execute an agreement with the Redding Education Association to effectuate such a plan. Whaley, Hoffman. Unanimous.
PUBLIC COMMENT
None.
BOARD MEMBER COMMENT
C. Hocker said good job to the Negotiation Committee and he thanked them. H. Whaley and S. Oulton shared words of agreement.
M. Hoffman asked what impact this has on the budget and if there will be another meeting. C. Parkin replied that we will hopefully know the impact next week and confirmed that there will be another meeting at that time.
