CALL TO ORDER
C. Parkin called the Special Meeting to order at 7:33 p.m.
PUBLIC COMMENT
None.
JOINT MEETING WITH BOARD OF SELECTMEN AND BOARD OF FINANCE TO DISCUSS 2021-22 BUDGET:
C. Parkin introduced Superintendent of Schools, Dr. Harrison, and Director of Finance and Operations, Clarence Zachery. He went on to highlight the major budget drivers expected for the 21-22 school year. He also shared a preview of what is new: new leadership, the new finance system, and the expected new format of the budget. Lastly, he explained the new terms of the association’s contract. C. Parkin and C. Zachery answered questions about the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic on the budget and the plans for any capital expenditure projects.

Motion: move that the Redding Board of Education meeting be adjourned. (Whaley, Reilly). Approved. Unanimous.
