SM reported Georgetown has implemented the use of the Epinephrine inject kits instead of the epi-pen as they now cost $850 (Over $500 for generic) verses $60 for the kit plus the cost of a child syringe. Training took place and the new supply protocol has been put in place. The kits were purchased from Brookfield Medical Warehouse.

SM noted that Georgetown Day is Sunday June 9th. Danbury will be providing a medic.
JP reported that Mark Cardillo was planing the Lions Club Carnival for Sept 18-20 on the Town Green. It will be in addition to the one in Weston. No EMS specific coverage requested.
SM mentioned that Georgetown has put an EMS first response vehicle in service for the on-call EMT. It is a fully stocked sprint car that will respond in addition to the ambulance. Currently using pre-owned vehicle recycled for this purpose.
