MEMBERS PRESENT:  JULIA PEMBERTON, WADE ROESE, SEAN MORRIS, AMY ALCOTT
ALSO PRESENT:          MATT CASSAVECHIA

THE MEETING WAS CALLED TO ORDER AT 17:10

THE MINUTES OF THE MARCH 3, 2015 MEETING WERE READ.  JULIA PEMBERTON SAID THE MINUTES TO EACH MEETING WILL BE POSTED ON THE TOWN WEBSITE AS SOON AS THEY ARE FILED WITH THE TOWN CLERK (TOWNOFREDDING.ORG). ANYONE CAN VIEW THE MINUTES ON THE WEBSITE.

UNFINISHED BUSINESS:
NONE

NEW BUSINESS:
THE ANNUAL GEORGETOWN CELEBRATION WILL TAKE PLACE ON JUNE 12TH FROM 12-6PM.  THERE WILL BE A LOT OF PEOPLE IN TOWN.  MATT C. WILL ADD AN ADDITIONAL PARAMEDIC FOR THE EVENT.

THE TRAFFIC PATTERN WILL BE DIFFERENT THIS YEAR AND WILL CROSS ROUTE 57.  WADE OFFERED TO SEND OUT AN EMAIL TO THE FIRE POLICE FROM RFD AND WRFD TO ASSISST AT THE EVENT.

GEORGETOWN WILL HOST AN EMT EMR REFRESHER AT THE GVFD ON JUNE 17-20 WITH AN ADDITIONAL TEST DATE. OPENINGS ARE AVAILABLE.

OPEN FORUM:
WADE DISCUSSED THE IMPORTANCE OF TRAINING EMTS IN HIGH SCHOOL.  ALTHOUGH THEY GO OFF TO COLLEGE, THEY ARE HELPFUL IN THE SUMMER. IF THEY RETURN TO REDDING AFTER COLLEGE OR SETTLE HEAR IN THE FUTURE THEY WILL TRAINED AND READY TO GIVE BACK TO THE COMMUNITY. EVEN IF THEY DO NOT RETURN THEY WILL BE PRPARED TO GIVE TO ANOTHER COMMUNITY.  CHRIS AUGUSTINE IS THE PERFECT EXAMPLE.  TRAINED IN REDDING, LEFT RETURNED A PARAMEDIC AND IS NOW PRESIDENT OF THE RPA.
