A Special Emergency Meeting of the Redding Water Pollution Control Commission was held on Wednesday, July 29, 2015, at the Redding Town Hall, in the Conference Room.
The meeting was CALLED TO ORDER AT 6:05 P.M. by Chairman Richard Regan.
Present were: Richard Regan, Amy Atamian, James Bacon, John Fisher, James Miller and Katherine Stauffer.
The purpose of this meeting was to discuss the replacement of the broken air conditioning system at the Sewer Treatment Plant. Work needed to be begin immediately.
Three quotes were received for review. The quotes were from:
Carmine’s Plumbing, Heating and Air Conditioning: $6,432.00
Tyler Heating, Air Conditioning, Refrigeration: $3,601.98
Edgerton, Inc., Heating & Air Conditioning: $4,600.00
Discussion was had as to what would be supplied in the way of condensing units, service and time frame for completion of work. Jim Miller highly recommended Carmine’s and was familiar with their work. New air conditioning unit will help resolve the noise complaints.
Motion to approve quote from Carmine’s was made by Regan and seconded by Fisher. Motion approved unanimously.
Motion was made to authorize payment to Carmine’s in the amount of $3,216 by Regan and seconded by Fisher. Motion approved unanimously
Motion to adjourn was made by Atamian, seconded by Regan, unanimous. Adjourned at 6:28 P.M.
