Regular Meeting Minutes
December 8, 2021 – 7:30 p.m.
Via ZOOM

Present: Matt Lecher, Chairman; Commissioner Bill Whitehead; Alternate Gary Miyashiro.

Also Present: Aimee Pardee, Zoning Officer; Applicant Polina Hochreiter.

The Chairman called the meeting to order at 7:34 p.m. seating Mr. Miyashiro for Bill Miller.

REGULAR MEETING:
1. Approval of Public Hearing & Regular Meeting Minutes of November 10, 2021
On the motion of Mr. Whitehead and the second of Mr. Miyashiro, the commission voted unanimously to accept the minutes as written.

2. Application #21-17Z – 613 Redding Road (Assessor’s Map and Lot # 13 – 23) – Owner: Polina Hochreiter. In accordance with Redding Zoning Regulations Section 5.12, request for a Special Use Permit to add an accessory apartment to an existing dwelling.

Ms. Hochreiter explained that she is hoping to convert her existing attached two-car garage into an apartment for her mother. On the motion of Mr. Miyashiro and the second of Mr. Whitehead, the commission voted unanimously to accept the application and set a public hearing date of January 12, 2022.

3. Approval of Zoning Meeting Dates for 2022
The commission reviewed the meeting dates for 2022. On the motion of Mr. Whitehead and the second of Mr. Miyashiro, the commission voted unanimously to approve the schedule. The Chairman asked Ms. Pardee if the commission would resume in-person meetings in January. Ms. Pardee stated that this was her intention, but it is pending approval from the Health Officer.

7. Adjournment
On the motion of Mr. Whitehead and the second of Mr. Miyashiro, the commission voted unanimously to adjourn the meeting at 7:43 p.m.
