Topstone Park

Topstone Park

Topstone is Redding’s 280-acre park with a picturesque lake and sandy beach used for swimming & kayaking, plus nature trails and even a beach for dogs.

Later in the summer, we will be offering special events mostly created by our lifeguard staff, check out the Topstone Events Calendar as the summer progresses, click here.

Dogs are welcome to enjoy Topstone Park unleashed “once they are 50 feet into the trails” provided they are under the close control of their owner. We have seen some people’s dogs far away from their owners. We ask that your dog be close to you and that you have a leash with you should you need it. Please be sensitive to all patrons especially those with young children and other dog walkers.

Per our town ordinance: Dogs must be on a leash at all times while in the common areas of the Park; the beach, the driveway and the parking lots. Dogs are also prohibited from the beach area May 15 to Labor Day. Click here for ordinance.  Thanks for your help and, of course, cleanup after your dog so we can all enjoy the park.
