The Redding Highway Department announces upcoming roadwork:
September 16-24
Station Road will be closed to traffic at the new wooden bridge to complete the staining of the bridge and install the wearing surface.
September 25-26 weekend (Friday evening – Monday AM)
We will also be installing a new surface on the Poverty Hollow bridge which will be closed for the weekend
September 21 & 22 – Chip Seal
Pinetree, Long Ridge, Guardhouse & Great Pasture
Chip Seal is weather dependent, actual work dates may change.
Please be prepared for delays & detours.
Pine Tree & Great Pasture will be closed during the process – detours will be in place.
October 12
Reclaiming of Bayberry and Top Ledge
October 25
Paving of Top Ledge, Bayberry & Simpaug (from Topstone to Ridgefield line – Ridgefield will be paving their part of the road at the same time)
